Community groups hear Captain Dancey on Americanization

Captain S N Dancey of Canton, chairman of the National Committee on Americanization of the American Legion, spoke to a combined American Legion and P T A at the high school. He urged selling education to the community and youth, stressing responsibility, faith, and an educated citizenry as keys to revival. The program included music by the high school orchestra and a student essay by Miss Ethel Mae Hershey, with Mayor Charles Snyder presenting the medal and remarks on Legion goals.

Return of Dale Winship from Hawaii Army Station
