Max Bishop Benefit Slated for Seville March 1
A March 1, 1975 benefit at Seville Elementary School will aid Max Bishop who has had two kidney transplants and awaits a third. He makes weekly Cleveland Clinic dialysis trips and has received 17 pints of blood since December. The event runs 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. with fun, food, games, entertainment and sales. A Red Cross Bloodmobile will visit Seville March 3 for donations in Max’s name.

Clara Kathleen Dibble 70 of Brunswick Georgia died February 12 after a brief illness. She was formerly of Wadsworth Ohio and lived in Brunswick eight years. Survived by husband Charles A son Grady Sapp sister Pearl Jackson Macon Georgia four grandchildren four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services directed by Chatman Funeral Chapel were held at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev Scott Poole officiating.

Carl Hughes of Columbia Gas in Rittman says 1380 industrial customers in Ohio gain gas on February 15 reducing curtailment from 55 to 40 percent. Schools stay at 40 percent while industry rises to commercial level. extended curtailment lengthened by conservation and warm weather.

Stucky Named U Way Head In City Campaign
Larry Stucky was named chairman of the 1975 United Way Campaign at the annual meeting. Don Lance was elected president with James Turner as vice president and Paula Howe as secretary. Nancy Harris and James Turner were elected to three year terms as United Way directors. Rittman Community Fund reported, with Raymond Mullet Dick Gillman and Mrs. Joseph Gaborsky re-elected for two more years. Community Fund officers include Raymond Mullet chairman Bob Gil vice chairman Dick Gillman treasurer Barb Jordan secretary. Mrs Ralph Gwaltney resigned as Christmas Basket coordinator and a new coordinator is being sought.

Obituary: Maynard Gasser 54 Dies After Illness in Smithville Area
Maynard Gasser 54 of Ed No 1 Marshallville died Thursday night after a two year illness at Orrville Dunlap Hospital. Born June 5 1920 in Smithville he was a WWII Army veteran and longtime custodian at Green Local Schools in Smithville. He is survived by wife Carolyn Jean two sons David and Daniel two daughters Nancy and Veronica Etherton six brothers and four sisters. Services were held Sunday at the Apostolic Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Gillman Funeral Home handled arrangements.
