After five years at the Rittman Press, Brenda Cool announces she will return to being a housewife. Inmont Corporation will close its Merling Ave plant in June and relocate five Rittman area employees to Strongsville. Production manager Dick Long says both Rittman and Cleveland units will consolidate in Strongsville, a strictly economic move with a several thousand dollar annual tax loss. The current building may be sold with no buyers yet. Strongsville offers a commuting option for staff.
A series of traffic incidents from February 10 to 15 involve multiple drivers in Seville Creston and Wadsworth with backing mishaps and left of center hits. Police report no citations for private property accidents and thefts include chains from a U-Haul trader station and a tape deck from a parked car.
The Kittman school board accepted the resignation of Clerk Treasurer Margaret Williams effective June 1 1976 after 2v years in the post. The board defined qualifications for a successor, set a payroll skilled resume requirement, and planned a timetable for applications. In other business the board approved the 1976 1977 school year schedule including a Fair Day, and designated a work day for certificated staff.
