Collision on Route 604 Leaves Four Dead in Sterling
A head on collision on state Route 604 one mile east of Route 3 at 1045 am Sunday killed Willard Garrison 60 of Sterling RD driver of one car and Charles Garrison 84 of Mount Sterling driver of the second. Donald Garrison 12 died later at Lowi hospital. Faye Loretta Garrison 14 and Naomi Maibach Garrison 84 died in the other car. four other children were injured. Officials reported the elder Garrison was transporting his daughter toward the Jackson Presbyterian Church when the crash occurred.

Rittman Cancer Crusade Sees First Day Progress
Mrs Joseph Gaborsheo-bredneke Su led the Rittman Cancer Crusade on its opening day finishing canvassing in the area. Volunteers reported about 75 homes visited with donations noted by county chairman Virs K Oshorne. The drive, called Door to Door Cancer Crusade, continues next Monday February 22 in Doylestown with local auxiliary sponsorship and literature distributed by chairpersons of the Storing district.
