Union Evangelist Services At Presbyterian Church

Union evangelist services continue this week at the Presbyterian church with Rev. Miller delivering forceful sermons marked by earnest sincerity. Despite a hoarse voice he preaches a positive gospel while Prof. Vinaroff leads music to delighted audiences. A large choir enhances the meetings and 14 converts came forward on Sunday, with more expected at subsequent gatherings.

William Hulse was killed in an explosion of nitro glycerin and dynamite in a storehouse at Olmstead Falls near Bera. The blast occurred Wednesday morning around 7 oclock and was felt widely in the vicinity.

Obituary of Robert Bauman From Rittman Community

Robert Bauman born November 1848 in Uetendorf Switzerland died February 1 1916 after years in Monroe County Ohio and later near Rittman He married Elizabeth Thomas August 6 1873 who died September 29 1912 Survived by eight children forty four grandchildren and two brothers Funeral services were held at the family home with broad community attendance. He was a devoted member of the Christian Apostolic Church since age 19.

John Wenger of the Wenger & Spade grocery store suffered a severely mangled thumb when caught in a freight car door at the Ene freight depot Tuesday evening. He was taken to an Akron hospital Wednesday morning. doctors expect that amputation will not be necessary.

Gordon Child Dead From Diphtheria And Scarlet Fever

Ruth Gordon, two and a half, died Thursday at 8 p m at the Ellett street home from diphtheria and scarlet fever. Her brother Harry, four, recently attacked with scarlet fever remains in critical throat and ear condition.
