Rittman Forms Bicentennial Committee for 1976 Plans
Rittman council approved a Bicentennial Committee with Lindsey Williams as chairman to organize ceremonies for July 4 1976. Members include W H Hauenstein Clarence Kunkler Rev James Watt Paul Wheeler Robert D Wenger Sam Genovese and Dick Winkler. Officials will invite others as plans develop. Also discussed were confusion over the citys new night time parking ordinance and enforcement inconsistencies. City Clerk Judy Emery named to also serve as council clerk.

Hand Made Glock Is Work Of Art At Rittman High
Todd Imhoff in his third year of industrial arts at Rittman High School built a walnut Grandmother Clock by hand from the clock's inner workings to the finished case. Shop teacher Robert Schleneger praises his workmanship as a sign of promising talent. Todd's clock now hangs at home with his parents Mr and Mrs Ben Inhoff displaying the piece. Other students in the class also work on clocks, signaling a budding clock making group at the school.
