Watershed plan could cut local floods by sixty percent
Lewis Burnett of the Chippewa Watershed Association told the steering committee in Rittman that a complete watershed plan in operation would have reduced area floods by about 60 percent. The group heard from officials about ongoing surveys by the Soil Conservation Service and state inventory work expected to finish by April 1, with final field surveys by June 30.

Father Denis M. Farr of Assumption Parish Brooklyn Road Cleveland is appointed pastor of St. Ann’s Parish by Archbishop Edward F. Hoban and will assume duties February 18. He succeeds Father John T. Scouts Visit Rittman Press During National Week

County library board push aims at broader service
