Injured at Home Near Town

Hartman Pleads Guilty in Miner’s Support Case in Court

Grover Darrot Hartman, brought by Deputy Sheriff Miller, appeared before Judge Critchfield and pleaded guilty to failing to support a minor child. Hartman owes $8 monthly to Mrs Hartman, with $500 bail set to guarantee the court order, and was remanded to jail for lack of bail.

Indictments Returned by Grand Jury

The grand jury reported to Judge Critcrfield at 3 15 Wednesday afternoon returning 11 indictments against ten persons. Of 14 investigated, four were ignored. Forty two witnesses were examined. Seven indictments were not made public. Joe Novassel of Rittman was indicted on two counts arson and carrying concealed weapons. Ernest Lentz of Wooster was indicted for burglary and larceny after admitting a theft at Lieofsky grocery.
