Collision in Orr injures Mrs. Clason in fair condition
A two vehicle crash in Orr on Saturday afternoon sent Mrs. Robert Clason of 193% S Main St to hospital in fair condition. The truck driven by Lorren Boughman of Navarré collided with Mr Clason’s car, causing the injuries and sending both vehicles off the road.

Three Injured In Rt 94 Crash In Wayne County
Weather contributed to a Saturday crash on Route 94 near Rittman in which three Stobaugh family members from Akron were injured. William, Janet, and Connie Stobaugh were taken to Wadsworth Hospital after their car hit a station wagon driven by Carl Vargo of Rittman, then rolled over into a ditch. The Vargo vehicle, driven east in a wagon owned by Wade Rohrer, could not stop on slippery pavement as Taxi driver James Dockery stopped to left turn, causing the collision.

William E. Schneider Jr 22 died after an automobile crash west of Wadsworth early Saturday. He had worked as a mechanic for Don K Freed Inc since 1954 and lived with his brother at 413 East North Street Medina. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Waite Funeral Home. Interment followed in Medina.

Teachers Hear of Teaching In Korea
Miss Edna Horn president of the Rittman Education Association introduced Miss Mary Harbage director of elementary education for Akron schools who spoke on My Year In Southern Korea. Harbage chaired a committee that went to Korea to build an educational program for Southern Koreans organizing 215 members including interpreters and Seoul University professors who led six week workshops for 15 000 Korean teachers during the year. She plans to return to Korea in 1956 to continue the work.

A manhunt ended with the capture of a gunman who allegedly pulled a pistol and threatened residents of Easton and Doylestown after crashing into a ditch on Eas Gasestie Peswsaerel. The Ohio State Highway Patrol led the search, aided by local agencies.

Flu Outbreak Lowers Rittman School Attendance
Rittman schools report severe flu impact with 120 grade and 42 high school students absent on the worst day. Barn Destroyed by Sterling Farm Fire In Ohio
Late Tuesday a barn on a Sterling area farm near Sterling owned by Ernie Wald was destroyed by fire. The Russell Patterson family occupies the farm home and Ford Kreider operates the farm. The loss included straw oats farm machinery 38 hogs and six cattle. Firefighters from Milton Twp Fire Dept and Rittman Community Fire Co prevented damage to the home and nearby structures.
