Canvass House To House Cancer Drive Planned In Rittman
Three Arts Club will sponsor a house to house Cancer Fund Drive from February 8 to February 22. Members will mail request letters to clubs merchants and industries. The group met at Mrs. George Sandrock home and approved donations to the Cancer Fund and the Rittman Public Library. A drum mage sale was planned for April with date to be set.

Mrs. Donald Butcher hosted the Olla Podrida Club with 15 members and two guests on Meadowvale St. A $5 March of Dimes gift was given. The program split on negative and positive views of mental health with Mrs. Florence Kanehl and Mrs. Anna Norton, noting local efforts in Rittman and a high school course on the topic. A film on Problem Children was shown. Next meeting hosts Mrs. Norton with Ruth Baker and others. Wooster College Music Conservatory students will perform.

A child's wrist watch found among waste paper at the Rittman plant was turned into the Press office this week. Walter Keating reported discovering the watch and it will be held until claimed by the rightful owner who can identify it.

Rites Held For Donald Kohl In Massillon
Donald J. Kohl 34 died at his home on West Liberty Street Massillon from a heart attack possibly after over exertion. A World War II veteran and a salesman at Ohio Edison in Rittman he was active in golf and baseball. Services were at St Mary Church Massillon with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Survived by wife Betts son Donald daughters Betsy Susan mother Mrs Marie Kohl and brothers Robert and Richard all of Massillon. He belonged to St Ann Church in Rit tman and American Legion Post 221 Massillon.
