Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at All Ebert Funeral Home for Ami Perrenod 55, who died Monday at Massillon State Hospital. Burial was at Crown Hill Cemetery. Perrenod, born in Switzerland, came to this country 27 years ago and operated a dairy farm a mile south of Sterling. Survivors include two brothers in Switzerland and five cousins Mrs J W Malbach Elj John Pred and Filward Perrenod, all of Sterling.

Christmas Gifts at Milton Church Bring Hymnal and Candlesticks

The Loyal Berean Sunday School Class taught by MFE donated a hymnal from the estate of the late Mrs. Settle Toland, published by the Presbyterian Board of Christian Education and edited by Dr. Clarence Dickinson and Dr. Calvin W. Lanfer. The items will be presented during the morning worship on New Year’s and dedicated by the committee in charge. Nearly 1500 residents attended the community Christmas program on the square, featuring a School Band, Santa Claus, and a tree lighting coordinated by the Rittman Civic Association with local clubs and merchants contributing.
