The Civic Association in Rittman sets a December 24 7 p m Christmas Eve program with Santa Claus handing out fruit and candy to children. The Christmas tree at the Municipal Building corner will be lit just before the event. Christian Endeavour groups will sing carols and tour the town. American Legion Auxiliary may assist with sorting the treats, as the village builds a platform by the community tree. Committee chair Ernest Harrison leads the plan with B S Woyat and U M Wenger.
