New Construction Continues in Bittman This Fall
The Church of God roof was completed this week and the basement dedicated in 1941. A 46 foot tower will crown the finished church. Wenger Oil Co. garage 39 by 88 feet, pillars-free, with multiple doors and windows. Frye Furniture Co. adds 75 by 45 foot one story warehouse at rear. Rittman Savings Bank rear addition now used for office space.

Military rites held for Dale Bryan in Rittman
The body of 23 year old Dale Bryan arrived in Rittman Monday morning with a military escort. He was killed in Germany on March 25 1945. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Ebert funeral home with Rev William Echols officiating. Burial followed at Military Circle in Rittman cemetery. Surviving are his parents Mr and Mrs William Bryan of Rittman and three half sisters and one half brother.

Nature Movie at High School Shown Monday Evening

Indians Win Opener Then Fall to Spencer in Tough Week
