Yoder Fined Ten Dollars For School Refusal Case

Village council meets on time as ordinances pass
The Gill village council fixed 7 o clock as the meeting time during winter months. On last Monday evening the body came nearer to meeting on time than in months. All members except Swartz attended. The sewer and plumbing ordinances passed second reading and a railroad lights at street intersections ordinance passed under suspension of the rules. Bills were ordered paid and the council adjourned.

Bert C. Gates files for divorce from Mattie Gates through Weygandt and Ross. He alleges a June 8 1914 separation agreement gave him stock in Ohio Box Board Pumping S3800, furniture, house and lot in Rittman, an automobile and other items, and asks the court to have her remove her goods and surrender the key.

Rumor Centers on Fetters Case Across Town
A Doylestown Journal item clarifies a rumor about Elmer Fetters of Orrville and Elmer Fetters of Rittman. The Orrville man was jailed for stealing a sack of buffalo grease from a local store. The Rittman man, related by marriage to Henry Rowe, works at the Ohio Boxboard plant. The two men share a name but are not related or acquainted.
