Mrs May Burkholder wife of the late David Burkholder died at 6 40 am Thursday at her daughter Mrs Norris Keating Salt St death caused by araemic poisoning after a six week illness including high blood pressure heart disease and kidney trouble She leaves five children Mrs William Overholt Mrs Norris Keating Perry and Charlie Burkholder eight grandchildren and another late husband Burkholder died seven years ago She was a Brethren Church member with funeral at 1 pm then church service at 2 pm at the house burial in Oak Grove Cemetery She had been nearly blind for years.
Rittman High School opens its basketball season Friday December 14 with Sterling as the opponent. The girls travel to Doylestown December 7 for a practice game before Sterling. Tickets reserved at 50 cents for balcony. regular seats 35 cents. Doors open 6 45.
Adam H. Looser died Monday evening at a Wooster hospital after several weeks illness. Born January 26, 1868 in Bethel Township Lebanon County Pa, he is survived by wife Sarah A. Looser and two sons John of Hittman and J W of Akron. One son and a daughter preceded him. Rev Hendrickson conducted a house sermon and burial was handled by the A Lymbert Funeral Home in Wooster.
The Florida Club met at president Mrs. A. M. Wenger's home with assistant hostess Mrs. Norton on Tuesday afternoon. Roll items on Christmas Observance and Women of the Bible were presented. Mr and Mrs Daniel Musser visiting daughter Mrs Gus Patit Thanksgiving Day escaped when their Buick sedan stalled on Line tracks and was struck by an eastbound freight train. They were urged to leave the car before it was demolished. the Mussers live south of Snydertown.
Dead at about 9 o clock last Sunday morning near Reading Pennsylvania, aged around 40. Duffy known as Chilles Epric, resided with his mother and a sister who said he would be buried in Wadsworth Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon after family funeral rites.
