Mills Suffer Paralyzing Stroke Tuesday Morning
About 5 o clock Tuesday Mr Mills was stricken with paralysis on his right side and could not speak until Tuesday evening. He is reported much better now as his children were summoned. doctors Prouts and Toland are giving him attentive care and a speedy recovery is hoped.
Orrin Biddle Home From Newport News furlough
Orrin Biddle, a U S Navy man stationed at Newport News Virginia, is Home on a ten day furlough with fellow sailors Charlie Rohrer and Tom Hall. Rohrer is in Maryland and Hall in Texas after moves from Georgia on Thanksgiving Day. Biddle visited his sister Mrs John Hatfield and relatives near Massillon before planned return to Virginia Thursday. He notes no idea how long he will stay at Newport News, but expects a change soon. He is the first July enlistee to receive a two furlough.

Express Train Ditch Derailed Near Burbank on Thanksgiving
A night express train derailed about 2:30 a.m. one mile east of Burbank. The engine tender and seven express cars left the rails, injuring none of the crew. Hartel and Field, workers at a boxboard plant in Easton, Ohio, drove a Ford with a flat tire. While crossing brick pavement south of Rittman the car flipped and landed upside down in a wheat field. John R Landis and Miss Meliss Rohrer married at noon on Thanksgiving day at the bride’s parents home northwest of Ritman Medina county. Rev N A Lind officiated and 43 guests attended a wedding feast. Accused Man Released In Medina Stock Misrepresentation Case

Drunken night leads to arrests and public court case
