Kenneth Ott suffered a broken arm and minor injuries after being struck by a car driven slowly by Kindig on Second Street as he walked home from school today. authorities report he was not seriously hurt.
Rotarians and their wives will attend an inter city social at the Armie Grange hall next Wednesday with dinner at 6 30. The Wadsworth Rotary club invited Seville and Rittman to share the event while Akron universitys Dramatic Club will present a play by ten student actors after dinner. Dr J G Kramer of Akron spoke at luncheon surveying Russia and church relations.
Harry S Hammond longtime clerk at A HI Thomas Drug Store and Hammond Struble Rexall Wooster married Miss Blanche Brink at the bride’s home on Quimby Ave in Wooster attended by immediate family Rev F S gauge officiated Mrs Hammond is daughter of Mrs H Arink and a Wooster High School teacher Mr Humungsrd a Wadsworth High School graduate and former Ohio Northern student. another marriage of interest ties Miss Pra itiner to Frank Meintir in Creston with both living there.
A list of out of town mourners attended the funeral of Corry A Boling held Wednesday afternoon November 25. Attendees included Mrs Lanire Boling and many relatives from Akron Mansfield Wellsville Wooster Shreve Springfield Lodi and Seville among others.
William Shackelford is gaining strength at the Peoples Hospital in Akron as he recovers from an operation. He is not expected to be home for about two weeks.
A Wootripy family trip from Zanesville Ohio to West Virginia ended in disaster when a car left a steep embankment. Mr Ball suffered a fractured skull and injuries, a cousin injured, a six year old boy died, a three year old survived unhurt, and another person received a shake up. Relatives of Mrs Clarence Kunkler, Nellie Ball and Earl Ball, are among the injured. Mrs Kaunkler traveled toward Virginia Monday morning.
Mr oN P Moss fell forty five feet to a concrete floor at the Ohio Boxboard Monday night. Dr Snyder reports he is semiconscious but improving with no broken bones and X rays show no skull fracture.
Ruttman Change met in regular sessions on Friday evening November 27 with good attendance. The program directed by Man Ivannéngiser included Plano sung by Mary Wirth, a clarinet solo by Junior Steiner, and readings by Roy Wirth and others. Dorothy Steiner presented The Scent of Roses, with additional playlets by the Steiners and McConnell family.
W W Bodager and a family escaped injury after a two car collision east of Minerva while passing a truck on Thanksgiving evening. Bodager’s Graham-Paige and a Ford suffered heavy damage but all occupants remained unhurt and Bodager’s car was fully insured.
A Rittman Automobile Club directors meeting at the Vord garage approved sponsoring annual Christmas tree activities. President Lauryss was asked to form a committee to organize a members gathering during January and arrange the club’s festive program.
Mrs Mary Homan wife of a Doylestown resident died after a brief illness at a hospital. Survived by husband two daughters May and Ada a sister Mrs Amelia Vanteniifer and brothers James Dannemiller Vivin Isadore and Carl Ganmemoith. Funeral at St Peter and Pauls church Saturday at 9 00 am Rev A V Mehler officiating. Burial in SS Peter and Pauls cemetery. Prose in charge.
Miss M Foran and Mrs Co Le Norton hosted a Christmas party for Ola Podrida club at Grandview home. The gathering included minutes, roll call, papers on American history, musical and holiday decorations, gift exchange, and a display of items from the Columbus Blind Institute for charity.
The Friendship Class thanks readers and Rattman Press for supporting the play School Daze. About 430 attended. Special thanks to Pauline White Dorothy Shoemaker and Martha White for music, Poe sisters for harmony, Dwight Mason the ventriloquist, Mrs A M Wenger for directing. Also thanks National Refining Company Enarco products and White Rose gasoline for advertising and tickets and copies of the play to the cast.

The Howard A Mary Post 423 of the American Legion forms a relief committee to assist widows and needy soldiers' families in Milton township. Judge Saunders at the probate court in Wayne County will handle pension claims for widows with minor children. Community members are urged to report eligible widows and contact legion officers for support.
James Killough of Wreihtst fell down stairs Monday night, injuring his knee cap. He will require medical care for some time.
National commander Henry J. Stevens Jr told Indiana conference leaders he will invite outstanding ministers from every denomination as distinguished guests to the next national convention to witness the Legion's work and affidavits on service to God and country.

Corry Boling, son of Thornton and Ursula Longshorn Toling, born 1846 in Wolmos County OG. He died at home in Wittman Ohio November 25 1941 aged 60 years, 1 day. Survived by widow, five children including Meru Maude Jeffrae, Sadie Poling, Walter Boling, Harfey and Charley Boling, five grandchildren, two brothers Squire of Akron and Colonel of Kansas City. Funeral held at home. burial at Itimon Cemetery.

The W. B. A. will hold a white elephant sale and social on Tuesday evening December 8 at 8 30 in their hall. Each member may invite two guests and a covered fish lunch will be served.

The oldest son of Mr and Mrs Difford Zigier of Saville was kicked in the head by a horned horse Sunday morning while feeding horses after returning from delivering milk. Neighbors heard the cry and rushed to aid the boy, who sustained a head wound.
Dr H Southard Ohio Health Director urges support for the Christmas Seal sale to fund local tuberculosis work. The Ohio Public Health association will contribute 80 percent of sale proceeds to bolster county health departments and strengthen prevention efforts.
