Night School May Organize At High School

A board motion to offer a night school program in the high school commercial department seeks applicants. The twelve week course runs two nights weekly for two hours, with a $10 tuition. Classes cover bookkeeping, typewriting and shorthand, with home study for beginners. Meeting set for Monday December 6, 1926 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school.

Christmas Seal Sale Starts December Sixth in County Schools

On next Monday December 6 the sale of Christmas seals will begin in all the schools of the county and continue until December 24. The drive, led by Rittmen, aims to meet the quota and raise funds for the season’s needs.

Basket Ball Is Now In Vogue At Local High School

The high school team and Dalton girls begin practice as county games approach. Patten boys show strength after a year of experience, aiming to surpass rivals despite losing key players like Harter Campian Goffinet and Poholski. Dalton girls, county champions last year, remain competitive with an unsettled lineup and broad trials for playing time.

A Wednesday charity clinic at Ohio Boardboard plant offered free services from nine doctors nurses and educators. Delegates to the state grange were chosen and a social gathering followed at a local church. Thanksgiving Day visits highlighted family arrivals and a near tragic gasoline accident in Doylestown.
