He served 14 years as postmaster and was active in community affairs. Survived by widow, son Charles F. Plunder of Cleveland, and daughter Mrs Ola Shaffer of Rattman. Funeral services held Monday at 2 pm at the residence with burial in Marshallville.

Milton township farmer Simon Ramster dies after appendicitis

Funeral services were held at his home and the Christian Apostolic church with burial in the church cemetery. He was born February 18, 1884, in Afton, Ohio, and died August 22, 1910, at age 36. He leaves Elizabeth Marhach Ramster and five children. Relatives came from Indiana Michigan West Virginia and Ohio for the funeral.
