Ira Gettings Ford roadster was badly damaged Sunday evening when a Chevrolet coupe belonging to Law Tera Hoffman of Rittman crashed of the roadster and threw both machines into the ditch near the Orrville-Northern road. Gettings was southbound and Hoffman toward Rittman. Mr Hoffman promised to pay all damages.

County Auditor to Issue Bill of Sale for Dogs
County auditor announces bills of sale for dogs available in the auditor's office at 26 cents each. Neighbors Day at Akron brings 600 visitors to banquet
At the Portage hotel a large group from surrounding towns joined Akron residents for Neighbors Day. 1928 Auto Plates Near Completion
The 1928 license tags will be finished by December 1 with trucks by October 1 and passenger plates by November 1. Plates are made in the penitentiary and one million seven hundred thousand will be produced, 200000 more than last year. Distribution will start after all plates are completed.

NT tee og Jacob Emch father of D. BR. Huchs of near Shinersburg died Sunday in Youngstown. He was in his early eighties and lived with his son for a couple of years. He was buried at New Martinsville West Virginia Wednesday. Rev Noah Hartzler of the Apostolic church officiated. Several machine loads from here attended. A sister in law of Mr Erich died at New Martinsville the same day and a double funeral was held.

Mougey Reunion At Schoris Home Near Rittman
The Mougey family held its annual reunion at the home of Mr and Mrs Jacob Schoris two miles west of Rittman on Sunday August 21. About 100 members attended from Akron Wadsworth Lodi Wooster and nearby areas for a bountiful dinner and reunion visit. The next gathering is set for the same location on the third Sunday of August 1928.

Holmes Construction Lowest Bid on Route 44 Improvement
