Miss Mildred Waters of Wadsworth and Mr Melvin Ritter of Rittman wed Saturday in a ceremony performed by Rev Etter at the Wadsworth Lutheran Church. The bride wore blue silk lace and a matching hat. she is daughter of Mr and Mrs E Waters of Wadsworth and worked in the Ohio Match Co office. The groom, son of Mr and Mrs W J Ritter, is a Rittman graduate employed at the Ohio Saline and serves as clerk of the board of education. The couple plans a honeymoon to Cleveland Buffalo and the Phon? Islands, then to a cottage near Akron before returning for housekeeping in Rittman.
Mrs Sue Smith underwent three very painful operations last week for nasal enlargement. Dr W Douglas of Woostler performed the procedures. She is reported to be resting along nicely at her home.
P Columbus August 22 with state primaries over organizers plan November campaign. Democrats see a chance to elect tickets while Republicans expect Ohio to stay solidly Republican. Candidates are set, radio will play a larger role, and issues will emerge to shape the fall vote.

The Capsul Sisters of the UT. B. Sunday School met Tuesday evening in the church parlors for social time. Much merriment and many surprises marked the gathering. A fine lunch followed the social time.
Mirliam Catherine, daughter of Mr and Mrs Claude Yergin, was born Tuesday August 34 at Barberton Hospital. Mrs Yergin was formerly Miss Louis Willams, a second grade teacher three years ago.

Despite other plans a good number attended and enjoyed a fine supper. The Griffiths, active in the Presbyterian Church, were presented with a token.
At the Class of 1928 graduation exercises speaker Frente for the address Piott W O Skinner was named president of Wilmington College. He has served as superintendent of the Marietta school district and brings prior experience to the college leadership.
A blaze broke out on Willow Street damaging the Young building and barns owned by the Rittman Bielfiess Men’s Association. Firefighters arrived promptly and brought flames under control after a tense afternoon. some damage but no injuries reported.
An event of Tupaday wed Dorothy Lance and Garl Koahler at 3:80 PM in the parsonage of Rev Swander Church of God Smithville. The bride wore white georgette with Miss Piiker Tianiganesd Merlin Hitty as attendants. The couple, both Rittman graduates, plan a local wedding journey to Cleveland and play, then housekeeping in their new home.
Robert Wenger informs The Press that the new equipment to be installed will be of the most modern design. When completed the station will be among the county’s most up to date facilities.
Last Sunday Mrs Dulabsha celebrated her 68th birthday with family at Dowostuwah. Present were Mr and Mrs Lanals and son Owok Himar Dulabehn and family, Mr and Mrs Charles Dul at Wadsworth, Manna Brumbaugh and children from Kent, Mrs Gertrude and Ja latter Dulajahn, all sharing a bountiful dinner and warm wishes for many more happy years.
On Saturday, September 1, local Boy Scouts will oversee the erection of markers along the Lincoln Highway. A man of mature years will supervise the scouts during the activity and take charge of the operation.
A sad end to a vacation trip as Cecil Meir, a young man from Applecrack, drowned while bathing at Kingman Lake. He was with friends, planned a Niagara Falls visit, and collapsed after a heat attack. The community mourns the popular athlete and student.
The local American Legion unit was represented at the departmental unite convention in Columbus on Monday by William Wenger, the commander, joined by a group of officers and members including BEC Mough Clarence Bruny Warren Bodagor Harry Hoffelman uy Lind George Chapman Harvey Stratta and Arnold Hammer. Wenger reported on Raymond C. Ingersoll as commander and noted activity among legion members and affiliated groups.
