Funeral services were held for Mrs. Mary Ginter 65 grandmother of Mrs. Phillip Yecitheim at the chapel. She died Tuesday morning at her daughter's home in Creston. Car Thief Lands In Rittman Jail
A 1983 Chevrolet was stolen in Cleveland Saturday afternoon at 2. The thief, identified as Jim Broadbeck, fled south on Route No. 4 and crashed into a culvert near Rittman. Teens Martin Rosenburg Harold Mongey and Kenneth Kurtz encountered him offering the car for 50 dollars. the youths declined. The thief fled, later located at Theresa Wolfe’s home on North Mary Street. He admitted the theft and was jailed in Rittman after being captured by Detective George Melendy, with Cleveland authorities taking custody that night.
