Doctors treat a rare fungus infection with blood transfusions and special medicine made in New York. Earlier he was taken from Wadsworth to Akron Children’s after symptoms suggested a cancer type illness. An older brother Ed Die, 24, is at home. Another child Frederick was fatally injured two years ago in a farm accident when he fell from a wagon and was run over by a wheel.
