City purchased two new hose carts with 600 feet of hose and tested them Saturday by blasting water from Salt street. The vertical stream reached an estimated 100 to 200 feet, proving the apparatus powerful enough to tackle large fires and placing Rittman among top fire-protection towns in the region.
