Boyd Samuels was convicted in Recorder’s Court on a road assault charge. He received a five year sentence after attempting to abduct two girls from near Star Montgomery county. The girls, who had arrived by train to seek work at a Silk Mill, resisted and escaped. Samuels appealed and bonded set at 750 dollars.
