Memorial sketch of Mrs Belzorah Stamey wife of Rev Alexander Stamey
Relatives report Mrs Belzorah Stamey born 1832 in Lincoln County North Carolina died at Pilot Mountain after pneumonia. She mothered five ministers among six sons and supported the Confederacy during the Civil War. Survived by five children and many grandchildren. Grandmother Stamey had strong character and long service to church and community. Her obituary notes four sons became ministers and one became a physician. several daughters survived. The funeral arrangements shifted due to illness and travel, with interment at Pilot Mountain.

He left camp Sunday to return to High Point burial planned locally with sister in Virginia notified.

Death of Young Man Will Lowe Aged 19
Will Lowe aged 19 died Friday night at his parents home after a two year illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at the home by Rev. Jas W Rose of West End Baptist church. Jr O U A M members oversaw grave services. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
