Carranza and followers killed in Tlaxalantongo clash
President Venustiano Carranza and his small party were killed early Thursday in Tlaxalantongo, Mexico. General Rodolfo Severra directed the attack, with allies from General Francisco Villa Marial’s forces, who had deserted Carranza last week. The official notice came from General Alvaro Obregon’s headquarters.
