Primaries in Guilford County Set for May 16
The Guilford County board of elections met in Greensboro and set May 16 as the day for precinct meetings and primaries to select candidates for the November general election. A second primary may follow May 21 if needed. The Democratic convention is tentatively scheduled for May 23. The board includes Hoyle, Sharpe, and Tate, with Tate newly appointed to replace Jones.
