Osborn is son of a former resident near Center Church, and his wife Letitia Brown is daughter of Calvin Brown. they met while Mrs Osborn served as a Friends preacher. They live along the Columbia river with a fruit orchard. Mrs Virgin Presnell and Mrs C E Davis also visited in High Point Monday.

Paris March 1 Plans were completed for President Wilson to return to Paris and for the early assembling of the peace congress with German delegates. Wilson abandoned landing at Antwerp and visiting Brussels to instead land at Brest mid March and proceed to Paris. Lloyd George would not reach Paris until about March 22, with talks expected to last until then and possibly set a date in early April for the congress. The planned treaty would cover military naval financial and economic aspects.
