Motorcycle Fall Leaves Vassie Wilson Severely Injured
Vassie Wilson sustained serious non fatal injuries after a motorcycle fall Friday evening between here and Thomasville. An automobile party found him unconscious and brought him to his home where he remained in critical condition for two days. He began to recover gradually though his head struck a rock during the fall.

Squire Hodson Dies at Home on Hamilton Street
P H Hodson died Friday night of malarial fever at his Hamilton Street home. Survived by wife and two daughters. Born 1840 in Randolph County near Fairfield. Funeral services were held Sunday in Springfield conducted by Rev McFarland of the Friends church.
