Pastor Dr Sylvester Newlin Dies at 67
Dr Sylvester Newlin, pastor of the Friends Church, died suddenly at his home Sunday afternoon after an ulcerated stomach. He was 67 and survived by his wife and daughter Clarice and three brothers. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Auditorium with interment in Springfield.
