Hamilton Avenue Footbridge Reopening Delayed Again
The Hamilton Avenue pedestrian bridge connecting Hicks and Henry streets near Red Hook remains closed after July 5 due to corroded steel supports and concrete damage. DOT now expects a late October finish with a three month reopening projection and up to a one month longer delay, affecting students and commuters who must cross at Clinton Street.
