Red Hook Civic Association Opens Fall Season at PS 15
The Red Hook Civic Association held its fall meeting at PS 15 with 40 plus residents. Captain John J. Lewis discussed robberies in 11231 up 36 percent, urging timely 911 reporting while residents pressed for an old fashioned beat cop. The meeting covered dangerous traffic on Van Brunt Street and ongoing truck and bus issues, plus notices on youth programs, theater projects, and the next Civic Association Meeting set for October 26.
