Gowanus retention tank deal moves to private site
EPA and New York City reached a settlement on locating a two tank CSO retention system for the Gowanus Canal. The Head of Canal site was chosen over Thomas Greene Park after months of negotiations, with public comment due by May 31 and possible eminent domain actions debated.
