Green housing push eyed in Columbia Waterfront District
Marshall Sohne and Passiv House Xperimental plan energy efficient projects across Sackett Union and Columbia streets. The program includes a four story eight unit condo at 138 Sackett and a 13 500 square foot office conversion at 211 213 Columbia, plus townhouses at 33 Carroll and a 10 000 square foot seven unit building at 131 Union. The $25 million build will connect the sites with interior walkways and shared courtyard, finishing in about two and a half years.
