Red Hook zoning plan to allow nine story nursing home voted down
City Council defeated Oxford's plan to rezone a Red Hook site at 141 Conover Street for a nine story nursing home in a flood zone. Council member Menchaca opposed the project, citing safety and community needs, with a 47 to 2 vote.
