Brooklyn Folk Festival lights up Downtown with 35 acts
A three day Brooklyn Folk Festival at Jalopy 345 Jay Street transformed a pulled venue into a Brioklyn street scene. Eli Smith and Geoff Wiley organized performances by Woody Guthrie tributes and artists like Dust Bowl Blues and The Ether Frolic Mob. The crowd enjoyed banjo workshops and a kazoo giveaway while noting the event broke even and planned next year.
