Goltens Red Hook shipyard closes after 60 years of work
The Red Hook machine shop once housed a diverse, multi national crew who rebuilt ships and tankers worldwide. July 3 marked the silent closing as LIVWAK buys the property to convert it into offices and creative spaces, ending decades of poker nights and family camaraderie.
