Fresh Purbird joins Carroll Gardens with homestyle grilled chicken
A new chicken spot, Purbird, opened at 502 Henry Street offering grilled rather than fried poultry. Owners Christina Comerford Lekkas and her husband opened a second location in Carroll Gardens after success on Henry Street. The cafe serves whole or half grilled chickens, salads, wraps, and sides for about 6.50 to 9.50 with dine in takeout and delivery options.
