Red Hook Community Attorney Named Criminal Court Judge in NYC
Karen Gopee, longtime Red Hook Community Justice Center court attorney and housing advocate, has been appointed as a Criminal Court Judge in New York City. Since 2006 she assisted Judge Calabrese, built youth outreach, and partnered with NYCHA and the Center for Court Innovation to improve court experiences.
