St Agnes Uncovers 1891 Wissner Piano for Community Concerts
Parishioner Noe Cucchiara helped reveal a 94-foot Wissner grand piano hidden under a tarp at St. Agnes Cobble Hill. The instrument, built in 1891, was restored by Brian Whiton and funded via Kickstarter raising over 23 thousand dollars. A Sounds on Sackett series began with three concerts last fall and plans three more this spring featuring Leon Livshin and others.
