Pilar Montero aged 90, longtime owner of Montero's Bar and Grill in Red Hook, Brooklyn, died January 14 at Suny Downstate Medical Center after a routine procedure. Immigrant from Galicia, Spain, she and husband Joe ran the dockside hub for 65 years, serving sailors, longshoremen, and locals.
