Cobble Hill Cinemas Reopens After Pandemic Hiatus
Cobble Hill Cinemas on Court and Butler streets reopened in March after about a year closed due to the pandemic. The theater, a Cobble Hill staple since the 1980s, benefited from the Save Our Stages arts grant while shut and hosted PS 58 learning spaces. The reopening brought back staff, loyal moviegoers, and hopeful plans for a steady future.
