Good Friday Procession Through Carroll Gardens Marks Way of the Cross
The annual Good Friday procession in Carroll Gardens drew about 1,000 participants led by the Madonna Addolorata statue from Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Parish. Auxiliary Bishop Raymond Chapetto joined the event with Italian devotees, sorelli, and a brass band, as familiar faces returned to renew old connections and observe the solemn ritual ending with a second Passion service in Italian.
