The Colonel's Story of Felicita and the Alabama Captain
Felicita survives a perilous voyage after her husband dies, is rescued by the Confederate sloop Alabama commanded by Captain Rephal Siemms, and lands in a French port. In Paris she dreams of a future with loved ones, paints visions of her past, and later, in New Orleans, is revealed to be Felicita by Bishop DeVere. The Bishop arranges her return to Louisiana, reuniting with Aunt Venus and Angelica, ending in a joyful reunion.
