Fire destroys Nicholson dwelling and contents

The Nicholson residence and furniture were totally destroyed by fire, Friday night of last week, with insurance only $400. A cold wave brought long icicles, and a burglary occurred Saturday morning after a call from friends. Ward Two notables H. Stuckalay and J. Crawford are highly regarded. Anson plans to relinquish Chicago team management and captaincy, remembered as king of the diamond.
