Rich Will For Poor Miner After Generous Relative

A Hazelton, Pennsylvania report confirms John McDonald of Jeanesville, a poor coal miner, will receive a $75,000 legacy plus a large ongoing income from Arthur McDonald, an eastern relative who tested relatives’ worth by sending a disguised beggar to John. The will excludes another nephew who was refused a share. The executor is Rev. Fitzmaurice in New York City, with the Grassvalley diocese confirming identity of the miner.
