Businessmen gathered at the bank building on Thursday evening the 18th to decide actions regarding the Potter hotel owned by the Gunderson Brothers. A committee of Dr. Ames Henry Mahler and E C Banta was formed to consult Gundersons and report whether the hotel could be rented or if a new stock company should be formed to build a hotel after no reopening action was taken.
