Mr and Mrs Frank Oliverius of Scottabius are the new proprietors of the market and store formerly run by Mrs and Mrs Wim Clark. The deal closed Wednesday. The Clarks moved from Kimball last spring for trade and health reasons. They left yesterday for Arizona to locate. Oliverius is an experienced meatman who has helped in the market under Bartlett ownership. The family now resides across from Seyfang hall.

History of the Frostrom House at Kirk 1899 rebuilt

Angora Youth Killed in Accidental Shot Incident
Kenneth Earl Berry a 21 year old Angora man was killed instantly in an accidental shooting while shucking a ramona field near his parents home. A witness 40 yards away saw him topple from a wagon after a shot rang out. The gun carried in his wagon was believed to discharge as he reached for it or the weapon fell upright striking him in the chest.

Gordon Man Loses Life In Stock Truck Crash
Sylvester H. Lynch known as Tom was killed instantly when the truck he was driving with live stock went off the road six miles north and one mile east of Gordon. He was alone and it is not known how the fatal accident occurred. Tom Annett arrived later with help, followed by LF Neumann and Al Nelson farm crew.
