Twenty eight members attended the Potter Community Boosters club meeting at the Tebilake cafe on a Wednesday evening in November. After a meal the group declined a donation of 7 dollars and 50 cents to the Legion’s outdoor Christmas program on December 16. Joe P. Schwartz led the program introducing visitors from Sidney Rev Father Link Miss Helen Peetz and Everett Bailey. Dailey presented two comet golos with Miss Peetz and Father Link, pastor of the Sydney Catholic church for 26 years, delivering an inspiring talk on beneficial community spirit enjoyed by all. The next meeting is planned for December 6 at Stines cafe.

Dry and Cold Week Ends With Freezing Night
Weather remained dry with a sharp drop to freezing temperatures Wednesday night. Thermometers dipped to ten above zero in the early hours of Thursday, freezing radiators and boosting antifreeze sales as clouds increased but moisture did not fall. Temperature moderated by Thursday noon.
Santa Claus to Visit Potter This December
Reliable reports say Santa Claus will return to Potter this December likely on December 10 in the afternoon. Last year’s outdoor program of songs, music, and a dramatic appearance with a big bag of candy is sponsored by the Region, aided by the Auxiliary, the Community Club, and other organizations.

National Education Week Observances Planned
The Potter public schools announce November 5 to 11 as National Education Week with four programs. On Sunday Rev Tanner will give a sermon at M.E. church. Tuesday features Patrons Program at the high school assembly. Thursday presents The Misner Plays and Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew at 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Friday hosts the Armistice Day program with Rev George Morrill as speaker. Patrons Night is Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the high school auditorium to inform and involve the community, meet new teachers, and visit classes. Admission to the play is 25 cents.
